These Michael Jackson and Chris Tucker Moments Are Hilarious

Chris Tucker once made Michael Jackson laugh in front of an entire crowd. In just a few seconds, Michael’s serious image started to crack.  To the movie the movie sometime. We go to the movies. Uh both of us like going to the  And it wasn’t just on stage.  When he’s hot  Chris talked about hanging out with Michael even normal things sounded like they never went normal.

From big stages to smaller stories behind the scenes, Chris Tucker always made Michael Jackson feel a little more unpredictable. On the 30th anniversary stage, everything was supposed to look cool. But Chris Tucker walked in like his job was to ruin that mood. Chris didn’t need to win the dance-off. He just had to make everything feel slightly off.

And the funniest  part wasn’t really how Chris danced. It was that Michael knew it was coming and still couldn’t hold it in. Going to the movies sounds simple. Unless the person going with you is Michael Jackson.  ever go in public anywhere with Michael Jackson? Cuz what’s that like?  You know what? We go to the movie the movie sometime. We go to the movies.

Uh both of us like going to the Cuz Michael got to split in the movie right before it start. So Michael coming  in like with a ninja suit on. He’s hot. And all of a sudden I’m sitting there all black all of a sudden. I turn around. He’s like, “Hey Chris.” I’m like, “Oh man.”    How long you been here?  About 5 minutes.

I’m sorry.    And then all of a sudden you’re watching the movie. He’s the loudest person in there.  Really?  Yeah, he’s watching the movie like    I said, “Michael, why don’t you sit up where people see you?”  Michael wanted to go to the movies like a normal person. But clearly nothing about Michael Jackson was ever  really normal.

Live television has one thing going for it. Nobody gets a second take.  Mike, where Bubbles at, man? How the monkey doing? Ain’t nobody heard from the monkey in a while, Mike. How the monkey doing, man?  He’s at Chris Tucker’s house.  Chris Tucker got the monkey, man? Right on, Mike.

Chris Tucker, what’s up, brother? Y’all big ups. Hey, y’all come up to the stage.  I I’m a big fan of yours, by the way.  Right on, Mike. Big fan here, too, man. I know all the songs.  Cedric.  I still got    I love you.  And the stories Chris told off camera were even more unpredictable.   Like he like that 56 song in the club.

He like the beat, so he’d be jamming to the beat. We’d be riding in the car. Michael just be jamming to the beat. He’d be like It’s cool until he start saying the words. That’s when it sound crazy. He’s like, “You see me in the club with a bottle for a buddy.”  Michael, Michael, no. Michael, no. Don’t Don’t sing the words.

Chris, I love that song, Chris. I love that beat. I love it, Chris. That is a cold-blooded beat. I love it, Chris. Of course I wouldn’t go in the club with a bottle for a buddy, Chris. I wouldn’t do that. But I love that song, Chris.  And that was just Michael listening to music. Sometimes you’re supposed to just stand still and enjoy the moment.

Chris Tucker usually doesn’t choose that option.  He was like, “Damn, this is fly.” He’s watching the Oscars at old Barry Gibb’s house, BG. And we were sitting there and all and hanging out and stuff and I said, “God damn, this is your Barry Gibb and Michael Jackson.” And all of a sudden both of them start singing.

They were singing “How Deep Is Your Love?” I said, “God damn, this is Michael Jackson, Barry Gibb singing right in front of me. Ain’t nobody going to believe this shit.” It was just me and a dog looking at dog. Dog wasn’t even surprised. I was like, “God damn, this is fly.” I said, “This is your girl, Cedric.” They need to know cuz we’re living in a world of fools breaking us down and we all should let it be and the world should be And then a bear came in.

I believe in you and say that the dolphins believe in me. And then I got caught up and came in. I do you all the suffering and you know I can set and you know it. And Michael was like, “Chris, no. Chris, no.”    “Chris.” I said, “Mike, I’m sorry. I got caught up.” “No, Chris, no.” “Stick with the jokes, Chris, no.

What are you doing, Chris?” “Chris, go to the car, Chris. Go to the car.” I won’t say nothing else. “I know you won’t say anything else, Chris. Go go to the car. Beat it, Chris. Beat it, Chris.” I’m like, “I’m sorry, man. I Chris, go. Go. I told you not to You always want to be starting something. Go. Just go.” “I don’t want to hear it, Chris.

”  After a story only Chris could tell, this was the time he actually stepped into Michael’s world on screen. From the screen to real life, Chris’s Michael stories always seem to start with something very small.  I’ll go to Netherland and I would say I like something, he would give it to me. I was like, “Mike, I like that big screen TV.

” He was like, “You like it, Chris?” I said, “Yeah, I like it.” He said, “Do you love it?” I said, “I love it.” Next day I go home, Michael would send the TV to my house. I said, “Michael, thank you.” Michael was nice and rich.    Now, may I ask, did you pay taxes on that gift?  I did. I think I did. I think I did.    With Chris, Michael stories rarely stayed with just one person.

This time Jackie Chan got pulled into it, too.  In the world, sometimes we bump into each other when we traveling. Like we bumped into last time we was in London, and I knew Michael was in the hotel cuz everybody was outside yelling, “Michael! Michael!” And I was mad cuz my window they was yelling in my window.

I said, “Michael’s on the other side of the hotel!    I got to get some sleep. I got to interview in the morning.”  Have you introduced Jackie to Michael yet?  I don’t know. Have Michael I don’t know. Michael wanted to meet Jackie though. He always tell me, “I want to meet Jackie too.”  He did call me.

He did call Did he call me one time?  Really?  I was I was just sleeping. He called my my second assistant to answer the phone. “Can I have a Who’s speaking?” “This is Michael.” My my my assistant, “Michael what?” “Michael Jackson.” “Okay. I’m sorry that Daddy And then my I hang up the phone. Then afternoon I wake up because I went to late night show.

Then wake up You know, big brother they call me in big brother. “You know who? Michael Jackson.” I said, “No.” “Yes!    Michael Jackson called.” I said, “Why didn’t you call me? Why didn’t you call me?”  He talked so low he probably thought he was somebody was playing on the phone.  Yeah, well it could have been that could have been the case.

Speak up!  Michael Jackson!   But after all those chaotic stories, what Chris remembered about Michael wasn’t just the times they laughed together.  Please explain, how does that relationship with Michael Jackson begin?  You know, I think it was man, it was it was just predestined or something because every If you look at all my movies, I’ve always made some kind of reference to Michael cuz I guess it’s in everybody’s life.

Our childhood, we grew up watching Michael Jackson everybody. So I I made his you know, his energy is something uh I made some kind of reference in Fridays and different movies. So and I guess he saw saw my movies at some point. One of his nephews told me he showed he showed him Fridays, showed Michael Jackson Fridays and Michael was laughing and all this stuff.

But yeah, man, it was unbelievable to meet you you your childhood one of your childhood hood superstars that you grew up admiring, thought you would never meet in your life, and then become friends with them, and and to learn from them and stuff like that. It was It was awesome, man. You know, it was just unbelievable.

But in the end, what Chris remembered most wasn’t a big stage or some huge story.  went to a mall. We was out. Michael wanted to go to the record store or something. He didn’t He forgot he was famous. He was like, “I got to go to the mall. Go to the mall.” And we got to say, “Michael, you can’t go in the mall.

Man, you forgot who you are?” He said, “Well, let’s go.” And the only thing that was in the car was was a Spider-Man mask. So, Michael said, “I’ll put this on when we go in.” And we get in. I said, “Michael, you can’t do that.” Spider-Man ain’t going to just be walking through the mall. Ain’t nobody going to They’re going to know it’s you, Michael.

He’s like, “No, it won’t. Chris, it’ll work. It’ll work.” We go in the mall, and he was getting away with it till people figured out cuz I was with him, and he was like, “Chris, is that Michael Jackson in that Spider-Man mask?” I was like, “Yeah.” No, that’s Spider-Man. That’s Michael Jackson.

All of a sudden, the mall went crazy, and they had to scoot us out. You should have seen  Oh my god.  It was great. We had a lot of fun. He was great.  It was Michael laughing. Laughing because Chris was talking, because Chris could recognize him, because of those tiny jokes only real friends have with each other. And maybe that’s why these moments stay with us.

Not because Chris made Michael Jackson funnier, but because around Chris, Michael seemed free to be himself.  We do not make any absolute claims regarding the accuracy of the data presented, and we are not responsible for any personal decisions made based on the content of this video.
