Well, we’re currently standing in the kitchen at the Michael’s house in Carol Wood. It’s a beautiful kitchen. It has everything anybody could possibly want. It’s generating an amazing energy and whether that’s coming from, you know, the icon of Michael Jackson. >> Michael Jackson spent his final days inside a rented mansion on North Carolwood Drive in Los Angeles.

After his death in 2009, the house became closely connected to the last chapter of his life. The property quickly gained attention around the world and became an important part of the story surrounding his homes and what happened to them afterward. >> So, this is one side of the house and this is the one gate.

I’ll go around and show you the other gate. But right up there, right there, that window. Yeah, that’s the window to the bedroom where Michael Jackson passed away. So, if you look, the trees have grown in a little bit, but if you look right through the trees there, you can see the tall window. >> Over time, the house slowly moved away from public attention and became part of private ownership.

So, this would have been how Michael saw the house. And this photo here is of the actual bedroom that Michael Jackson passed away in. And this photo here is the room the way that it looked when Michael lived here. And the bed in the photo is actually Michael Jackson’s deathbed, which went up for public auction after he passed away.

Now, there was quite an outcry of people that didn’t want to see this sold and especially Michael Jackson’s estate. So, I think they actually took it off the market. >> This mansion became strongly connected to Michael Jackson during the final period of his life and soon became a major part of his personal story.
