don’t move don’t move Steve just sit real still I’m going to show you this guy now this guy his name’s Tonka Steve and this guy this guy he doesn’t mess around he’s an alligator snapping turtle this is about 150y old Turtle it’s like a living dinosaur up to 1,500 lb of pressure in that mouth so if something comes down on it bam smashes it in a thousand pieces you want to see him smash something yeah grabb that carrot it’s about to get real in here Steve he’ll give give you a street cred now they can I buy no street cred

can follow baloney I got I got another word and that is shingleback skink there you go this guy head flips around something comes up to him in the wild right he’s hanging out something tries to mess with him right folds in half his head looks like his rear look at that animal comes up to him he won’t have his eyes open he’ll have his eyes closed he’ll start to go like this go ahead pick a head any head if an animal grabs him by his head he’s a dead lizard he’s no longer with us us they gra by that tail that’ll
break off wiggle around on the ground when you’re watching that freaking out screaming he runs the other way regrows another tail about 6 months to a year later really incredible if that doesn’t work this is the really freaky thing what they can do is baloney balone belone I’ll show you like this if they’re on the ground like this and you’re in Australia right you come up to them now he’s scared you’re walking you’re kind of threatening him he’ll put his head down he’ll lift the tail up like this like almost double jointed you
walk up to get close to him they can shoot that tail what you think is his head up to 3 feet away you lose it you’re like oh my God I just saw this animal shoot his head off you don’t know what’s going you’re freaking out he takes off running the other way he can shoot it off let it go this is this is a damn TR you like it though I can tell you like I lik that one hey do hey do hey do I lik that one yeah so shoots it right off right that’s it boom Let It Go Boom un this guy here oh someone want to come get this lizard m r let him go

can he do to you if you look at his body he has like Thorns all over his body yeah I see that and on the back legs they have those Thorns like on a rose bush what he’ll do is he’ll grab you with the back leg start to scissor him back and forth and just drill those thorns in your leg just grind up on your skin why is it not stab in your legs it’s CUA it don’t feel threatened exactly like it doesn’t feel threatened like I brought her out I was like baloney she’s cool now I like him he funny as hell he ain’t coming back but he funny as hell though

thing is they don’t have teeth except from the back of the mouth see how he slurps it all up with his tongue and and then he grinds it with the MERS in the back of their mouth what they do is they take over Burrows from other animals tortoise Burrows or hyenas have a den they go in boom boom boom kick it all out kick it defend the door with it back it all in there and they just sleep all day they’ll sleep like 18 hours a day come out at night look for some food one of my favorite animals you never see anything like this coming around back
coming around to the back just checking out CH she’s looking for termites well looking for termites she don’t like the slippery floor though Asha here back up here yeah tell you right now want a rider Steve oh hell no no no I don’t want herur to P she’s cool she just kind of hangs out they’re one of my favorite animals they’re not an endangered species but their their biggest problem is people eat them still coming this way they’re also fall prey to leopards H follow the host around if they’re not in a burrow they can’t hide
